DNS.BE – the .be (Belgium) registry – today announced that last week they registered their 1,000,000th domain name.

The domain in question was boekee.be registered by Erwin Boekee who in turn was awarded 25 years of free registration by DNS.BE for his effort.

DNS.BE ended the year 2009 on 978,000 domain name registrations marking a 14% annual growth.
