Google announced today the launch of their attempt at building a social network – Google Buzz.

What Google Buzz is basically, is an addition to your Gmail account that lets you share stuff with your Gmail contacts – much like sharing is done in Twitter/Facebook – many say it’s most similar to FriendFeed.

Interestingly, Buzz.com is owned by AT&T.
