New .CN Regulations Result In Registration Drop

The recently introduced stricter regulations for registering .CN domain names (by CNNIC – .CN registry) are causing some Chinese people to look elsewhere when registering domain names (as reported by the Financial Times), an occurrence which consequently is having a detrimental effect on the growth of the .CN ccTld.
