A New York Times report says ad revenues for popular blogs soared in the first half of 2009 while their old media counterpart - magazines - saw their ad sales plummet 21%. Elsewhere, the .biz extension got a nice boost when a major company announced plans to launch a big new ecommerce site on O.biz.
