I read an interesting bit of news from MediaWeek.com via DotWeekly.com yesterday – AOL have acquired the domain name and website MMAFighting.com for an undisclosed fee.
According to AOL’s execs the plan is:
to eventually merge MMAFighting.com, which launched in 2001, with the existing MMA channel within AOL’s own sports site FanHouse.
