NIC.CZ, the domain registry for the .CZ domain name (ccTld for the Czech Republic), have announced - as picked up by Domain News - that they have passed the 500,000 domain registrations mark.

NIC.CZ have seen a steep climb in registrations since the introduction of their own registration system in October 2007 - FRED. In just the year following the introduction of FRED, NIC.CZ have recorded over 200,000 new registrations.
